Getting a sound removed

NoiseEngine's marketplace lists short clips. Some are public domain (CC0). Others are fan uploads: users sharing clips from games, shows or memes that they don't own. If you own the rights to a clip and want it gone, we take it down.

Fastest: report it in the app

1. Open NoiseEngine → Sounds → Marketplace and find the sound.
2. Click Report, choose I own the copyright, and add how to reach you.

A copyright report removes the sound from the catalog and file host immediately. It is then reviewed. Sounds removed this way are not restored unless the claim turns out to be mistaken.

Send a POST to /v1/sounds/<sound-id>/report on this server with JSON:

What a notice should include

• The sound (its name or id) and the work you believe it copies.
• How to contact you.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised, and that the notice is accurate.

Accounts that repeatedly upload infringing clips lose the ability to share.
