Up and running in a minute

    Install NoiseEngine

    Run the installer and approve the one Windows admin prompt. It adds the NoiseEngine Virtual Mic.

    Pick your microphone

    A short setup asks which mic is yours, checks that audio flows through, and lets you choose a voice.

    Pick it as your mic

    In Discord, OBS or your game, choose NoiseEngine Virtual Mic as the microphone. Done: voices and sounds go straight through.

Questions

Is it free?

Yes. NoiseEngine and the marketplace are free.

Does my voice get sent anywhere?

No. All voice processing happens on your PC. The app only talks to the internet to browse, install or share marketplace sounds.

Why does the installer ask for admin rights?

Discord and games can only listen to a microphone, so NoiseEngine installs its own virtual mic, the NoiseEngine Virtual Mic. Adding an audio device to Windows needs one admin approval. The driver is signed by Microsoft.

Will people in Discord hear the soundboard?

Yes. Sounds are mixed into the same virtual mic as your voice. Turn on Hear soundboard to hear them yourself too.

Can I share sounds from games or memes?

You can share clips you don't own as fan uploads. They're reviewed first, and the owner can have them removed at any time (see removal requests).

How do I uninstall?

Windows Settings → Apps → NoiseEngine → Uninstall. That removes the NoiseEngine Virtual Mic too.
